My journey into this work began with my own struggles dealing with stress, chronic pain, and a total sense of disconnect from my body.

Ironically, it was my body that led me here, and it was through stillness that I began to recognize the movement happening beneath my skin. By slowing down, I could feel the subtle yet powerful shifts within my fascia and nervous system. This awakening ignited a desire to better understand my own body, to reconnect with myself in a way I never had before. It set me forth on a path of self-discovery—one that has shaped both my personal healing and the work I do with clients today.

At the time, I was doing what I thought was simple stretching. But something felt different. As I moved intuitively, following the sensations in my body, I could feel—and even hear—something. I didn’t know what it was, but I knew how it felt: my body softening, my mind clearing, tension unraveling. I was hooked.

My logical brain needed answers, so I started digging. That’s when I came across terms like “pandiculation” and “fascial unwinding”—concepts that perfectly described what I had been feeling. The more I learned, and the more I felt, the more I recognized how fascia—this intricate web of connective tissue throughout our bodies—plays a vital role in both physical and emotional well-being.

I spent nearly a year immersed in research, exploring this work through my own body. The results were undeniable. I felt more at home in myself than ever before. And I felt a desire to help others experience this kind of release and relief, too.

The Work

Cranial, fascial, and lymphatic techniques are the cornerstones of my practice, each offering unique benefits for restoring balance and flow within the body.

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) calms the nervous system while easing tension patterns held in the fascia. By creating space in the tissues, fluid can move more freely, allowing for better nourishment and waste clearance.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) facilitates the movement of lymphatic fluid, supporting detoxification, immune function, and overall well-being.

• Together, these gentle modalities work with the body’s natural rhythms—rather than against them—allowing for healing on multiple levels.

The approach centers on listening to the body, honoring its natural processes, and creating space for your healing to unfold. Whether it’s relieving pain, restoring mobility, easing emotional tension, or supporting the nervous system, the goal is to support you in reconnecting with your body in a way that feels intuitive and empowering.

My Journey & Background

In January 2023, I took my first formal training with Kelly Kennedy, owner of the True Wellness Center and host of the FLOWE podcast, followed by Gillespie Approach training in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) in April. By July, I was working hands-on with clients—and their feedback was remarkable. They were experiencing the same shifts that had drawn me into this work: less pain, better mobility, deeper relaxation, and a greater sense of ease in their bodies.

As I deepened my work with fascia, I became increasingly curious about another vital system: the lymphatic system. My exploration started with my own self-care. I began experimenting with lymphatic techniques, and the changes were undeniable—less pain, softer and brighter skin, more energy. It was a missing link in my own healing.

Wanting to understand more, I pursued formal training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) through Klose Training in October 2023. When I began incorporating lymphatic techniques into my work with clients, the results were just as profound: chronic sinus issues clearing up, swelling reducing, better sleep, decreased neuropathy, more energy, improved appetite, and an overall sense of calm. It was another confirmation of what I already knew—everything in the body is connected, and when we support one system, we support them all.

Before stepping into this work, my foundation was in nursing, biology, and community health. I earned my BS in Biology with a minor in Community Health from SUNY Potsdam before going on to receive my nursing degree from Johns Hopkins University in 2015.

I spent over five years as a critical care nurse before transitioning to outpatient perioperative care. While I valued my work in traditional medicine, I was increasingly drawn to a more holistic approach to health. In 2022, I began assisting an acupuncturist—helping to create written content for events and classes, newsletters, and social media. This experience introduced me to the world of freelance writing and deepened my understanding of holistic approaches to healing.

My Philosophy

This journey has been both professional and personal. Motherhood has shaped my approach in so many ways—reminding me of the body’s innate wisdom, the importance of slowing down, and the value of working with the body rather than against it. I’ve seen firsthand how stress, emotions, and experiences manifest in the body, and I believe healing doesn’t have to be forceful or complicated; It can be gentle and intuitive.

Whether I’m working hands-on with clients, writing to demystify health information, or simply sharing what I’ve learned along the way, my goal is the same: to empower others to reconnect with their bodies, trust their innate healing capacity, and approach wellness in a way that feels sustainable and supportive.

I’ve recently started a blog—something I’ve thought of doing for a long time. It’s a space where I plan to share insights and simple, practical tools for fascia, lymph, and nervous system care, along with holistic ways to support your health and well-being. I hope it will serve as a helpful resource and an invitation to explore new ways of connecting with your body.
